We know that certain flowers generally come in certain colors. Roses traditionally have come in a range of reds white, yellow, orange, and pinks for the most part.

Once you have the desired color dye the process begins by mixing the dye with a fair amount of water and soaking the stems in the dye solution until the petals start to absorb the colors. The best method for dying flowers also requires using a large plastic container. Techniques for deeper richer colors require leaving the stems in the color dye solution for longer periods of time to achieve the desired color effect.
